Broad Spectrum

Tree of Life is involved in many areas of the computer business. These include repairing broken PCs, building new PCs and servers, providing IT support to private and corporate customers, writing bespoke software, writing web applications and general consultancy. We have found this need in our community, which is our market place, and as a result set out to satisfy it.

Special Interests

Although Tree of Life is concerned with pursuing a broad spectrum of IT activities we do have two areas of special interest. The first is using Linux to create every sort of server as this has wonderful economics associated with it. In particular we have built replicated file servers which synchronise their content over local and wide area networks in order to provide secure storage. The second is producing application-serving software to allow the provision of specialist services over the web.

The Tree of Life standard

whatever the area of activity it is our intention to exercise the same level of excellence in carrying it out, as discussed in our mission statement. This means we only attempt tasks that we know to be within our competence and then to a rigid high standard.

Each segment of our business activity at Tree of Life is discussed in more detail in the links on the menu.
